With the first breath ever taken,
We are doomed to dying slowly
Like the sinner banned from heaven
Fated to an unfinished story.
Human souls all burn like fire
In their pure innocent youth years.
And they hear the angelsโ lyre,
Lulling them to sleep in cradles.
Yet, their sinful warmth gets higher,
Drowning out the song of seraphs.
When they grow as thieves or liars,
Flesh gets burned by dust and embers
Mortal life is dull and dire
Due to humansโ ill affairs.
And their sleep is sunk in mire
Of their vicious deeds and prayers.
Never will the wild desire
Of calm dreams in tranquil chambers
Come to life through sinful pyre
Burning up from their nightmares.
