In the midst of the academic year, students may be overwhelmed with their pile of assignments and deadlines. To help you out, we chose the best places at AUA where you can be productive.

1. AUA’s AGBU Papazian Library

It is not a secret that libraries are the most convenient study place. AUA’s AGBU Papazian Library is not an exception. Now, everyone on campus has access to over 31,000 books! AUA students, faculty, and staff members can access any book available at the library. Students can also find numerous e-books, academic journal articles, and more besides tangible books. Another aspect that makes the library an ideal place for you to study is the number of seats. Although the number of chairs has been reduced after the spread of the Coronavirus, plenty of seats are still available for all students.

You can use university computers and printers for a better user experience here. In addition, if you require a secluded place to study, you should also consider checking in the study rooms. Completing your assignments will be more enjoyable here. Note that you need to reserve a room beforehand.

2. Student Union

When entering the Student Union, we feel a buzzy atmosphere created by groups of students. It seems like you will have difficulty concentrating in such a noisy environment, right? If you want a quiet place to study, you need to enter the study area. You can work in groups or on your own without priorly booking your seat. It is also a great place for brainstorming ideas and networking.

3. Collaborative Study Area

The Collaborative Study Area, also known as the Aquarium, is the first thing we see when entering the Main Building. You should reserve your seat to use big screens and other equipment. However, if you do not need any of those, you can study sitting on comfortable green sofas. The Collaborative Study Area also has a separate space for your personal belongings, allowing you to study without worrying about where to put your bag.

4. Computer Labs

Computer Labs are located in the basement of the Main Building, another convenient study area. There are four rooms named 002M, 003M, 004M, and 005M. There are four rooms, so you won’t need to worry about finding a desk. The labs are the ultimate productivity area for its facilities, such as numerous computers, printers, and round tables.

5. Amphitheater

October is your last chance to enjoy the last rays of the sun this year. Don’t miss your opportunity to study sitting in the Amphitheater while enjoying the fresh air, the smell of yellow leaves, and the autumn sun’s warmth. Although no equipment exists, working in the fresh air will change your mood and increase your productivity. Thus, you will manage to save time for other activities as well.

At the end of the day, your choice will depend on your preferences among the wide range of study areas at AUA. You can also ask other students about their favorite spots to study and can start working together. Have fun learning!
